Testing, RCVET

Richmond County Volunteer Examiner Team is dedicated to providing convenient, accessible testing services at no cost under Laurel Volunteer Coordinator.

RCVET schedules test sessions quarterly but we make every effort to accommodate requests for exam sessions between scheduled sessions. We also provide testing accommodations when requested with reasonable advanced notice so that the team has time to plan and pull together necessary resources. Examples include but are not limited to: testing for visually or hearing impaired, learning disabilities, impairments that inhibit electronic testing. Some accommodations may require separate testing sessions to prevent distractions for other examinees.

All of our exam sessions employ HamStudy.org and ExamTools.org to provide fast, accurate testing electronically. Paper exams are employed when electronic testing isn’t possible, if the servers are down, for example.

All testing is on location at Richmond County Emergency Management Center, 200 Industrial Dr., Richmond County, NC.
